HomeBuyerPower® was founded by Joseph A. Warth, a licensed real estate broker and real estate attorney with over 2 decades of experience serving home and condominium buyers in the Ocean Pines and greater Ocean City, Maryland area.
Having worked with buyers, sellers and lenders of real estate in the successful conclusion of substantial numbers of home and condominium buying transactions, Joe saw the need for an independent, unbiased company to provide “client level” services exclusively to buyers and founded HomeBuyerPower® in 1998.
Joe graduated from the University of Maryland in 1975, and earned his law degree from the University of Baltimore in 1979. He has been a resident in the Ocean City area since 1983, and for the past 26 years has dedicated his career to representing clients principally in the areas of real estate and small business acquisition and planning.
He has also represented Maryland property owners in real estate tax assessment appeals throughout his career and served as a Hearing Examiner with the Maryland Tax Court, Real Property Division.
In addition to being admitted to practice law before all Maryland State Courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, Joe rounded out his professional experience and knowledge base by holding a Maryland Real Estate Broker’s license for over 20 years.
